If you have a trinket which needs to be upgraded, place it in the Anvil to do so. This will have an effect on the trinket that is random that will either enhance or intensify its effects. You can reforge an item for as many times as you want, though it will always have an effect that is different from the one that it had when you forged it.

You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. This will cost 6 energy, but increase the power of the trinket by a small amount.
